Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónWe had an amazing lunch last week in Davies&Brook’s private dining room. Great food, tasty cocktails but, most importantly, an outstanding service! I’d like to thank everyone in the team for the amazing lunch and would like to mention Marina Malta who was an absolute star and the main reason why I ended up booking at Davies&Brook. She was extremely attentive, accommodating and helpful. And all of this is in comparison to other high-end luxury places in the area! The special order cake was out of this world (shout-out to the Pastry team! . The picture doesn’t do it justice.
I went for lunch at Davies Brook a day after Claridges announced that it would be closing due to the chef heading in a plant based direction. I am so glad I got to experience this establishment. I went with a friend who goes weekly and I never understood why until I tasted the food and finished with the soft serve ice cream. We had the four course lunch menu with wine and cocktails. The service was impeccable and one would not have known that these staff could have been feeling uncertainty over their jobs just after Christmas. I recommend if you are a foodie and love great experiences or are looking for a great place to do a Christmas get together to 100% go here before it closes on 31 December 2021. You will not regret it. I would also highly recommend the soft serve ice cream. (I am not usually a fan but i would say it is one of the best desserts I’ve ever had).
When a restaurant is owned by a solid three star Michelin chef you expect the experience to be great. Well, Davies and Brook offers you much more than that. Nice ambient, a bit formal but very bright and elegant. Service was impeccable, with Thiago doing a perfect job to put us comfortable, explaining the history of the restaurant and the menu. We had the chance to visit the kitchen and there you can see where they age the duck and it was so calm an clean that you would doubt you were in a starred restaurant kitchen. An impressive 140 plus pages wine list allows you to have all the options you might need for a perfect dinner. The food is presented with a touch of art adding another notch to the experience. But, as we all know, the perfection resides on details, and the Happy Birthday card to my wife signed by all the team with very nice sayings was something that only happens on the top places. More than food, drink, service, ambiance, the experience! Thanks for Davies and Brook team for such good time.
Best dinner of my life! We had the tasting menu with the wine pairing and it was just phenomenal
Food was pretty decent but not one of the best starred. Had some good memories at Claridges when it used to be Fera. Set menu started off really great fluffy bread and caviar was delicious. The 2 following vege ceviche dishes was yum but not mind blowing. Cod was also nice but again not overly amazing. Duck main was good with good crunchy skin but jam was too sweet. Dessert was also good although I made the milk and honey choice which was actually salted caramel which I don’t like. Was expecting milk and honey
