Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónWe visited this restaurant for my birthday, and the food was outstanding! We ordered steaks and pasta, and although they were a bit pricey, both dishes were fantastic and definitely worth it. Our server was incredibly friendly and even made my birthday special. We live three hours away, but we will definitely come back!
This place is absolutely fantastic! The staff is excellent and incredibly friendly, and there’s an abundance of food. We ordered the ribs, and they were perfectly tender and juicy. The soup was delightful, and the salad was equally delicious. I chose the blue cheese dressing, and I was thoroughly impressed with the generous amount of blue cheese. The dessert options were excellent too. I had an alcoholic drink after dinner, while my husband enjoyed a parasol cocktail. Be sure to try the soup, salad, potatoes, rice, main course, and dessert—it’s all worth every penny. There’s so much food that we only needed to order one main course and a side, which means you can enjoy the main dish along with all the other sides without paying extra.
Steaks were excellent, a little pricy so happy they were delicious. Before the meal is served they serve a bunch of starters, beans was one of them, the other two were just as unappealing, they could bring out one nice bread and cut dinner cost. The atmosphere is is what it's all about here, pretty much any animal you can think of is taxidermied and on a wall along with all kinds of old western memorabilia, it's an awesome collection. Employees are not as friendly as you would think being in such a fun atmosphere. We took our 9 year old grandson and he absolutely loved it!!!
This is definitely the kind of place you go on an empty stomach. Prices are on the higher side, but portions more than make up for it. (As pictured) My husband ordered THE GAMBLER a 32 oz cut top sirloin that we both more than could 've shared. I had the HIGH ROLLER which was more doable, but after already having the vaquero soup and salad there wasn 't much room for me to get past the 6 oz Maine Lobster tail. A great steak date night option, or better yet a place to take a group of friends.
Upon entering the restaurant, you'll notice animal-themed decorations throughout, creating a lively atmosphere. The interior has a rustic, western blockhouse vibe. The portion sizes are generous—far more than enough for an average adult. We ordered the children's castle and popcorn shrimp, which could easily satisfy anyone. We also tried the 35 oz gambler steak served with grilled mushrooms, peppers, and onions—plenty for a family to share. Additionally, we sampled the half rack of ribs. I was genuinely impressed by how well the meat was cooked, especially given its size. The staff were very nice and friendly, adding to the overall experience. While it was a bit on the pricier side, I would say it was a worthwhile culinary adventure.
