After not visiting for a few years, we decided to give the bistro another try while in the area. We were among many patrons that evening and found the meals to be delicious, though possibly on the pricey side. The portions were generous, with my wife needing to take a doggy bag home for leftovers. I opted for the Steak Special and was pleased with my decision. The staff was friendly, the drinks were cold, and the meals were satisfying. Overall, a place worth appreciating.

Good food at very reasonable prices, no arty farty small sculpted piles in the middle of a massive plate. Very enjoyed our Barramundi.

I recently dined at Opals. I ordered the breaded cutlets and requested an extra side dish. I was told that it was not possible to accommodate my request and that the menu could not be altered. When the meal was served, I received two bland, pre-made cutlets that lacked flavor. The breading was soggy, oily, and tasted like cardboard. This restaurant is not a hidden gem and I regret to say that I will not be returning as a customer.
