I didn't get a warm reception because I'm used to other places that make the Mongolian grill, but I understand that things have changed for the pandemic. Signage is quite good overall, but something that would help explain the unique way of paying for food. I enjoyed a fairly standard rate of noodles, broccoli and chicken to sample. I'm always watching the barbecue masters. Place went from less busy than usual to twice as busy as normal in 20 minutes. Definitely a place where the place goes for dinner at the weekend.
I visited Khan 's Mongolian Grill in Burien 15858 1. Ave South Suite 107, today after a long absence of not going there. During the entire Covid protocol stuffing, and I thought the quality of the meal had taken a downhill. But I was early. It was found under new ownership and new management. Spoke to the new manager Jay a nice Asian gentleman. Who was pleased to answer my questions was friendly and cooked my selected noodles, and fresh and varied vegetables, cooked for perfection!! Large varied fresh vegetables, broccoli, carrots, onions, mushrooms and much more! You choose noodles, vegetables, oils, seasonings etc. Take it in the cash register, then cook it on a hot shallow grill! Fast and hot! It was much better, it tasted clean and uncomplicated. You know they're better scratching and cleaning the grill now, then under old management. Give them a try if you haven't been there for a while!
I stop here to pick up a delicious meal every time I'm in the area. As a person who has diet restrictions, I can particularly like to choose the exact ingredients and amount of each for my dish. It is then freshly cooked right in front of my eyes and hotly handed over via pipelines. Yum!
Clean and well designed Mongolian grill. At first I was about to add the meat after filling your bowl with noodles, vegetables and sauces. Quickly cook and reasonable prices for the amount you receive.
One of my favorite places to eat. Buffet style so you get to put what you want in your food. Lots of vegetable options and a couple different kinds of noodles. You can put your own sauces on it (both before and after it's cooked) to make it taste exactly how you prefer. If you're vegan like me, they have tofu instead of meat as an option. One note, everything is cooked on the same shared grill. It's right in front of you, so that does help as you can see that they wash it after each person and do a pretty good job of keeping people's food separate. They also don't use the same utensils on wheat/rice noodles or meat/tofu dishes. This all being said, if you go when they are busy, there is a higher chance others food might get mixed with yours, so I always go when it's less busy. Has only happened a handful of times despite coming regularly for years.
