I was stunned when I saw how big was my burger. It was a bomb filled with taste. I really enjoyed it. My wife ordered a pizza and it too was tasty. No doubt I will recommend this to anyone who goes through Burra to stop
Very friendly people at the Cook O'Burra. They aren't open early in the week but was happy they were opening when I left. The best coffee I had in Burra. Food is very reasonable priced. I'd come back here next time.
Pulled in enroute to Victoria. Great bacon and egg sandwiches (2 eggs and a side of bacon between bread!!!). Pity coffee machine had broken down that morning but Morgan was not far away!!. Friendly service
Popped into Burra for lunch on our way back from Morgan on a Sunday but the kitchen was closed at the pub. They directed us to a little takeaway next door. We were told by the pub that they would deliver our meal to us so we could grab a drink and sit out the front and wait. Unfortunately that didn't happen. We ordered our meal of fish and chips and expected it to come out on a plate with knives and forks and maybe a bit of salad? Nope! After awhile one of the workers happened to walk out the front to move a board, saw us and yelled out that our meal was ready to be picked up. My husband walked over to the shop and came back out with fish and chips in a box, no cutlery..not even plastic. We ate with our hands, it was tasty enough but I was disappointed at this stage and didn't enjoy it as much as I should have.
