Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónWe were staying in Haut-de-Cagnes and looking for lunch on the Promenade de la Plage. Many menus were typical beach fare of pizza or pasta. We wanted French and did not go wrong. I had a very well-prepared fish soup to start and my husband the smoked salmon appetizer. Our main course was a pork loin confit with a wonderful sauce and pomme purée. The restaurant was very clean and we enjoyed great service at an outdoor table.
Just had another meal at La Mouette and it was very good and once again to be recommended. We had soup de poisson and tomato and mozzarella salad to star followed by the tuna steak and bavette as the main course. 16.50 euros each excellent value.
We tried there are three course meal which was excellent value at €18. My partner had the fish soup followed by the tuna steak finishing with the lemon tart. I had the tomato and mozzarella salad which was very generous followed by the steak which was on the chewy side but rather tasty. The two proprietors Ted and Christian are very welcoming and cannot do enough for you it is only a pity that more people do not go to this excellent little restaurant.
We ate some of those while we were staying in cagnes. Ted and Christian are fantastic hosts. It's not expensive 16.5 for prejudice, main dish and dessert pie of sweet potatoes with geytry, then tuna stick and then a very good pechelliar mebara. Local people recommended this to me. Thanks for this.
Very simple place on the seafront of cagnes. the card is not very wide and the portions are small. the most is given by the courtesy and delicacy of the two managers, the younger, really adorable. I want to go back!
