The other Mexican restaurant in town is much better in terms of flavor and quality of food. The fajita was precooked and low quality meat. Because it was precooked when they warmed it up they overcooked the meat. The queso came out to me cold. Their salsa is very bland.I'm quite disappointed given the pricing...

Salsa was delicious with chips. Alambres mix came sizzling and was full of flavor as well. The fried ice cream is worth a try as well!

The service was good, but the food could use some improvement. The refried beans were rather mushy.

I ordered a burrito at San Marcos, and once again, the Mexican food in Cairo exceeded my expectations! It was incredibly authentic and offered a generous portion for just $4. I've never had a better meal for that price. The service was also impressively fast; I waited less than five minutes for my meal after placing my order.
