Le Diplomate - Calumet-Norvelt

Always enjoy it when I get a chance to dine at Le Diplomate! It has a wonderful, cozy atmosphere, truly feels like a french cafe. Highly recommend the French Onion Soup, the Hot Toddy, and the Cheese Board!

A great place to get an amazing meal in DC. All the dishes my family ordered were appetizing and amazing! Sorry, we ate all the food then realized I did not take any pictures. ? Both the food and customer service was top notch! Highly recommended.

Food is great, atmosphere is cool service is ok. Lots of people moving around and not doing as much as they seem to be doing. Takes them a bit to get you water and bread when you get seated at your table. Pricing is relatively high but good quality food! Had steak frites and burger and substituted one of the fries that comes with each to mashed potatoes. Fries were crispy and nice Paid $110

They can’t even quote the right wait time!! Get it together. Seriously.

This place has it all. Food, Service, Ambiance. We were visiting DC for a couple of days and this place took us back to Paris. We asked if we could have a beer outside and then take dinner inside. They were very accommodating since it was before the regular dinner hour (around 5PM). Had a great beer then a great dinner. Rudy was the perfect waiter. Thanks for the memories.
