We did hire a parasol on a few afternoon at this beach Bistro and although we only had a snack at Lunch-time once, and the food was very good; often we stopped for a drink just before returning to our apartment late in the afternoon.What impressed my wife and I the most, was the quality of the service offered by all the young men working here. The were, every single one of them, always very polite, helpful and eager to look after their customers! WELL DONE!

With enviable views of the Citadelle (as with all of the restaurants with beds), Octopussy is a really nice place to spend the day. Check when you arrive which beds are free, we settled ourselves on one at the front to then be politely moved. Once settled for a second time we spent the day watching the world go by. We had a nice meal in the restaurant, charcuterie, a mushroom risotto and an excellent local white wine. Along with 2 small beers a little later, the day was not cheap at €85 (€14 for the beds). However, we very much enjoyed it and you can't put a price on that.
