Sams Southern Eatery - Camden

The service was decent, but the fish was overcooked, and the hush puppies were burned. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone! I won't be coming back again!

I’m only giving this restaurant 2 stars because the food was edible. The catfish was rubbery and had a slightly pink hue on the inside. The mac and cheese wasn’t good either; it lacked seasoning. My husband ordered a po’ boy catfish with fries, and the fries tasted as if they were cooked in very old grease. His fish had some odd red bits in it. Overall, the food was bland and unseasoned. I’ve had a great experience at Sam’s Eatery in Pine Bluff, where the food is excellent. I’d much rather drive an hour and a half to Pine Bluff for their Sam's than come back here. Save your money and either get some pizza or head to Sam’s Eatery in Pine Bluff instead.

Food was good. Rundown older building. Needs cleaning. Furniture old and worn. But again good food

The bathroom floor was wet no signs. Almost fell. There were only 3 other tables and one had already had their food. My table and the other have been waiting .took them forever to bring my 4 drinks. The forever for them to take my order. They have had my order over 30 just for to orders of shrimp, a burger and some wings.
