Humpty's Family Restaurants - Camrose

The service was fine, bathroom and surroundings clean, even the cook on the food was ok. It was the quality of the food that was not good. The chicken in my mushroom chicken sandwich was old, the bernaise sauce on the benny was only recognizable as a sauce and the bacon was questionable. The best part of the meal was the side salad. Won't be back.

Both meals were absolutely great and served by a delightful lady named Sandy. We both realized that we have always had very good meals at this restaurant and today was no exception.

Chose 4 items from breakfast special menu which also included coffee or tea for $7.49. Food was prepared to order, presentation charming, especially the fruit cup, and service exceptional. Special runs weekdays until 10am.

Stopped in for lunch last week. Mother in law used to come here all the time and enjoyed the food. Been a few years for her and five for my wife and I. I ordered a burger and it was tasteless. Maybe freezer burnt? Just had no taste and was over cooked. I understand meat has to be cooked but not to the point it's dry and barren. My wife also could not finish her Salisbury steak. Waitress was a delight, friendly and smiling. They took off the price for her meal but we would rather have a good meal then not. Sorry for the bad review, just being honest. The food here has been better and we hope this was an exception.

Was by myself for breakfast on a Sunday at 10am. When I arrived there was probably 10 empty tables but place was steady. I ordered was continuously served by several staff with coffee refills. After I finished eating my coffee was refilled waitress asked if I needed anything else, I said no. She brought my bill. I was sipping my coffee when she walks over with debit machine asks if Im paying cash or credit. I replied not sure as I 'm not ready to leave yet . I felt like they were rushing me out. I looked around there were still empty tables and I had been there less then 30 minutes. I was annoyed so I just paid cash left and didnt finish my new cup of coffee. Would not visit again.
