Mood Food & Co - Canberra

We chose to come here because we made use of the Entertainment Card getting us 25% the bill. That was great.We were the only customers at 9:30am on a Sunday morning, so was a little concerned that might be a sign we picked the wrong restaurant. But generally it was OK. The wait staff were great.The food was average - not so keen on the soggy "toast". But the poached eggs were delicious. Coffee was average.Probably wouldn't come here again, unless we get the Entertainment Card discount again.

It was just disappointing. Started off promising with a side order of arancini balls however when we received our mains we were very disappointed. The pork was severely undercooked resulting in an extreme layer of fat and THE CRACKLE DID NOT CRACKLE. For the southern fried chicken burger, honestly would have perfected a Mcchicken. P.s Also hot chocolates were overly milky

In early May 2016 I caught up with a friend for lunch at mood food & Co. I have had coffee several times and was happy overall. I had a toastie with ham and cheese. That came with chips. My friend had a beef burger.I did enjoy the meal although I was a bit skeptical to begin with as my previous lunch experience was not that good. I will go back again and would recommend it for the first timer. Service was also good and on this particular day they were not that busy.

We were very happy with our lunch visit at Mood Food. Service was attentive, friendly and quick. It's nice to go somewhere that still makes fresh fruit juices instead of getting a bottle out of the fridge. Do yourself a favour and try the mushroom burger even if you aren't a vegetarian. Absolutely delicious!

Four of us went to have lunch there today and shared two mains. The menu said that they had aioli as part of the dish. However, when we received our meals and tasted them, both had chilli aioli in them. (Salmon salad and burger) If it wasn't chilli, it sure was hot, and I don't mean temperature. If you're going to serve chilli aioli then the menu has to be more specific. As one person is very sensitive to chilli and we had time constraints we could not order anything else. NOT GOOD! NOT HAPPY! WON'T BE BACK.
