Doria 66 - CAPO D'ORLANDO

I wasn 't expecting the meal to be as dazzlingly good as it was. I 'm vegetarian and Italy is a great place for veggies, but this looked like a fish restaurant. The owner was so sweet and friendly and offered me some things which sounded lovely, no whiff at all of '**** vegetarians '. And then out came this platter of incredible starters, vegetables cooked in all sorts of interesting ways and then one of the most delicious plates of pasta I 've ever had. And the owner was so passionate about his food, he knows how good it is and clearly loves sharing it with people. Just wonderful.

I had ravioli and that was pleasure to eat this food. Soft, tasty, jucey. Good service. I love plates which are probably loco designed :

Amazing food and super friendly service, you can really feel the passion they have for their food and hospitality! Here you don‘t just get the standard italian classic, but creative and excellent sea food. The quality and freshness is second to none. We couldn’t have made a better choice. We rarely give 5 stars, but they really deserve it!

The by far best food and service we experienced in our 2 weeks in sicily! We chose this restaurant because of its great reputation and werent disappointed. We'll definetly be back!
