Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónDined here on a VERY HOT Saturday night with 3 family members. Seated inside it has a lovely atmosphere and a comfortable temperature. The service was fast and cheerful, and we welcomed the regular cold water top ups without having to ask.The menu is extensive, and dietary requirements are catered for. The entrees of Money Bags and Prawn Balls, were beautifully presented and tasted delicious. The 4 different mains we had were all presented with care and were amazing. The Island Curry is amazing. They are liscensed and I didn't think the drinks were overly expensive. All in all we had a lovely experience and will return soon, as there was nothing we could fault. Thanks Golden Buddha
Location and set-up is nice. We got good service but it was quiet when we went (Tuesday night). Its currently sitting on 3.5 stars, which is fair. I have given 3 but couldn't give it 4. People that rate 5 stars need to get out more. Almost no where is 5 stars, thats hard to be.I will rate each dish and give feedback.EntreeChicken Satay 2/5: Chicken was overcooked and not tender. Satay sauce was ok but the serving was stingy. one of the best I have had was Jai Thai St Lucia but haven't been there for three years.Curry puffs 3/5: Not to bad but deep fried - Go try the ones at Sings Coorparoo they are 5/5.MainsI had the duck island curry 5/5 - This is beautiful. It comes out served in a pineapple and it really tasty. The duck was cooked well to. Yum worth going just to try it.Gf had the prawns - I cant remember what she said. I think she was quite happy so 4/5. serving looked generous in size.Overall it wasn't bad but it was a little too pricey. we had a $26 bottle of wine and the total price was $114. Look at what we had and try and tell me that is value. I eat at a lot of top notch restaurants and they are not good enough to charge that. We stuck to steamed rice (they still charge) because they wanted $11 for a serve of coconut rice. I think the fried rice was nearly $20. No one charges that. Overall worth a try. Like most places you have find the best dishes at each place.
They grow their own fresh herbs outside the restaurant and you can taste the difference. I love this place, I've introduced it to friends who now drive across the city for takeaway! bYO also!
Ordered take away dishes on Friday night that were amazing & fresh. Tasty is an understatement. Pad Thai was amazing and green curry fresh.
Only came here as the Rabbit Hole didn't have a table for 5. Wish we had just waited. The service was average, the food was confused (was I breakfast or a fruit salad ? ) the taste was just meh. I haven't been here for dinner but I am sure , well I would hope so , they are better at being a Thai restaurant rather than The Lazy Monk. The pricing was average, $115 for 5 . The menu was not extensive . I would recommend waiting for a table at the Rabbit Hole if you want to have a great start to your day
