Tori and Hiyoko is a little suburban cafe serving generously portioned, tasty, home style Japanese food. If you are looking for fine dining this is not the place. But if you are looking for friendly, relaxed dining this is definitely the place to go. There is a good selection of foods on the menu and meals are extremely well priced. I ate alone but I'm taking my family and friends back there.
This restaurant is fantastic! The dishes are prepared fresh to order and the flavors are incredible.
I have lived in Shanghai for a few years and this is my go-to spot whenever I am in the mood for Northern Chinese cuisine.
Directions: The restaurant is located on Buford Highway, hidden behind Italy Optical. It is next to I Luv Pho for reference.
