We had a few people with egg allergies and they took care of it. The steak and shrimp were perfectly cooked for my pleasure and my cousins had lobsters and scallops that were well cooked. It was right. For the price it was on par with similar restaurants. The entire staff was pleasant, attentive and accommodating. The drinks went after my aunt. Lots of parking on the back of the building.
I had an excellent lunch experience here. As a rule, the Hibachi in an American Japanese restaurant, in favor of sushi, if they have it, or even better, a Bento box and lunch. The Sushi Bento had a plentiful part, with a large amount of variety. The staff was also friendly. Very recommended!
This is the first time I've returned since the pandemic. Place is still beautiful, but definitely costs much more than before. I spent about $110.00 for 2 person hibachi, the earlier about $80.00 but experience was still good.
This place is a must for our family if we want to celebrate a special event when visitors come. The food isn't too expensive to consider where it is. The service is fast and entertaining chefs are also very good for small children.
Shiro of Japan was my favorite restaurant growing up so I was very excited to see it is still there on my recent business trip to Long Island. It was everything I remember and I am so glad I drove out to Old Country Road for dinner. The chef was entertaining and the food was delicious. I had the chicken with noodles and there was plenty of leftovers for lunch tomorrow.
