Bay Tree - Carlingford

Restaurant Review: supposedly a Michelin star restaurant but they definitely did not meet expectation. I’m not quite sure how they get their Michelin rating with the quality of food? Maybe they had changed their chef? I’m not very sure. The pork belly was bland and mussels tasted sad. Cod was so so. Everything was average. Price was reasonable for all the food that we ordered. A great find in one of the most beautiful areas of Ireland. Comfortable rooms right in the middle of the village. Staff so welcoming and friendly couldn't do enough for you. What can I say about the food it was nothing be exceptional, great choices. We had mussle's to start they were divine then a steak and a chicken dish sooooo good and all at competitive prices.
