Ghans House - Carlton

We dined here tonight after arriving from Brisbane and New Zealand. Baz's service was extremely friendly and generous. The food in the banquet was delicious and satisfying. We highly recommend trying this new addition to Lygon Street.

My partner and I were encouraged to try the banquet and we were not disappointed. We left the restaurant feeling satisfied and the food was delicious! The staff were very friendly and always available when we needed something.

After we received a warm and friendly reception, we were treated with a delicious selection of dips to begin our afghani meal. full of crumble and seasoned, all dishes tried to bud the taste. accompanied by fresh salads, chutneys, yoghurt and brot, the most important dishes that we tried were delicious and generous. we enjoyed the chicken and lamb ktikka kebabs and the aromatic qabuli court. a real surprise to finish the meal was the selection of home made afghani desserts, served with a delicious cardamon infused green tea. a wonderful conclusion to a delicious meal.

Located on Lygon Street in Carlton, Melbourne, Ghans House is a restaurant offering a unique blend of Middle Eastern cuisine that left us feeling satisfied and content. The portion sizes were generous, especially the kebabs and rice dishes. Every dish we tried was simply incredible, prompting us to indulge in their banquet menu which allowed us to sample a wide variety of their offerings. To top it all off, we ended our meal with refreshing Moroccan green tea and creamy milk fudge. The service was attentive and accommodating, with the staff happy to customize the menu to our preferences. It's a shame for those who missed out on this culinary experience - Ghans House truly provided us with one of the best meals we've had in Melbourne.

We had a group of 8 which is always difficult to cater for, but the helpful staff made sure the food suited each person. The food was delicious and interesting. Meals were very satisfying and staff couldn't do enough to please. Highly recommended.
