la maison Jouvaud Carpentras

Wonderful pastries, cakes, teas, coffees, and other souvenirs. I bought a delicious cake here to take for dinner at a friend 's house. Also bought a tin of the candy Carpentras is known for, Berlingots de Carpentras, made of fruit flavors, colored, with white stripes, twisted,...and cut into small pieces. Miam, miam (yum, yum)! They have a friendly, knowledgeable staff.

We loved this place. The desserts are to die for. The folks who run it are charming. We really liked the aubergine sandwiches...I think the main thing for my boyfriend were the pastries which were so good that they could put you in a coma...chocolate,...chocolate and the fruit tarts were no slouches either! We went there every day and couldn't get enough of the place.

Recently, I was offered a box of muettes: what a nice discovery that these chocolates with a subtle and original flavor! absolutely worthy to compete with herbal chocolates I am a follower!

Bergamote lemon tea and delicious brown dessert, in a very pleasant setting.

I've always been there and they say that perfection and that's true, that's why they say they've almost never been disappointed.
