Tukasa Café Centro - Cartago

We had walked a lot seeing the basilica and the ruins from the earthquake. This restaurant offered the right place to have lunch. We ordered caesar salad with chicken and a vegetable wrap. The wrap was delicious and so was the grilled chicken on my salad. A few strands of wilted lettuce make me give the food a four star review. The seating and the atmosphere was very comfortable.

Servers are very friendly but that’s about it. Food is overpriced and portions are so small. I ordered fajitas and I got served 4 thin strips of chicken with onions and red peppers, 2 tortillas, a small ramekin of beans, and a small ramekin of pico. It was pretty laughable. I thought I’d received the kids’ plate. Maybe it’s a good place for coffee, but don’t go if you’re pretty hungry. Total disappointment. Would not recommend.

Delicious gallo pinto for breakfast. Very good coffee. Excellent service and fair prices It has parking and it's wheelchair accessible

I have been to this restaurant a few times now. If and when I get a chance to come back to Cartago I will plan to go there.
