Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónWe had a delicious pizza with prawn and grilled zucchini topping, mixed grilled vegetables, and penne with eggplant. Service was fast and friendly. We were sitting outside in a pretty little square. The house wine was good, and the hot sauce for the pizza tasted home made and was very hot as promised!
We had antipasti,pizza's and focaccia's. They were great. Athmosphere of the restaurant however is not very cosy. No decoration and uncomfortable illumination. What struck us most is that the restaurant is run by two brother that tend to focus more on being the boss than to be a good host and employer. Not a friendly word to the guests, apart from some personal friends. The paid staff is working to the max while being bossed around. At peaktime (21:00) the restaurant is understaffed, but the two brothers will take a plate in their hands. As a result all persons at the table received their foor at a different time. I like Casale, but will not visit this restaurant a second time. Especially as there are enough alternatives.
Pizza is ok but rest of menù just acceptable (and not always). Most negative point the fact that they never serve dishes at the same time to the table. I have been eating there several times and, regardless of the people at my table, never had the chance to have the food arriving at the same time for all of them. So, you eat the pasta while the others wait for the pizza. Or you eat the fish while the rest of your friends are eating the dessert or are still waiting the pizza. Not acceptable ! At the end, decided to stop going as quality of food does not compensate for the bad service.
Sempre, probabilmente il miglior posto per la pizza. Un'istituzione!
