False advertising! Why name your restaurant Shanghai Cafe and not even be able to do the simplest of Chinese dishes? I get that it’s mainly Vietnamese food but with a listing of sweet and sour chicken under the heading ‘Chinese Chicken Dishes’ on there menu and then to give a basic Teriyaki sauce and poorly cooked fried chicken. They then tried to convince us that this brown sauce was sweet and sour and when that didn’t work they pawned off a red sauce which turned out to be a spicy chili sauce. Listen, I lived in China for a year and know what sweet and sour sauce tastes like. And they obviously knew they were in the wrong when they tried to pass of chili sauce as sweet and sour. All we asked for was a refund of the one meal, not the other two we purchased, but they refused. Horrible service industry mentality!DO NOT RECOMMEND AND WILL NOT GO BACK!
I had the combination fried rice with spicy level 3. They were on point with the taste and spice level. They use the large shrimps in the rice. The flavor was very authentic. I, also, had the fried egg rolls and they were delicious as well. I will be back to try their other dishes. Thank you for the tasty goodness. There’s lots of available free parking. Peace.
AMAZING pho broth!! The owners were so friendly and welcoming. Will absolutely be back soon!
Enjoy pho spring rolls w/o having to go out of town.
