Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónOur friend invited us for dinner over there but the service is not that good. They forgot to bring us bread until we asked when we got our main dishes. Each dish came out so slow and we have to asked them to be a bit faster few times. The most unprofessional issue was they gave us the bill right away after telling them we didn't want desert but my hubby was still eating his main dish!!!
We came here today for a delayed Father's Day lunch. My sister chose it for the view on the water and because she remembered that the tuna tataki was quite delicious. We sat outside on the terrace under the covered section as the weather was warm but overcast. There is a lower section that you can sit at in the sunshine, or under a parasol. We ordered the tomato tartine, the tuna tataki, of course served with wakami and salicorne, some burgers and some fish and chips. The staff were friendly and very attentive. As mentioned in another review the cod was a bit small , but very tender, and flaky and the burgers were delicious. We passed on the desserts, but they also appeared quite tasty . All in all, this was a perfectly satisfying lunch, in a beautiful setting by the water.
Sunday for supper. First we asked to be served some bread rolls after waiting over an hour with drinks to order our food. The buns arrived, they were hard (not fresh) and butter was frozen. We were 5 people. We wanted to order oysters (no more available), then calmari (no more available) then mussels (no more available). Is this a restaurant by the water side or what????? Very disapointed. I finally ordered a steak medallion and it arrived warm. The service was very good.
I can only make one criticism. It was a very, very, slow service. The recommended Hamburger was truly one of the best I have ever eaten. The waitress was also one of the most smiling, amicable and friendly person I have encountered in a long time. The only hang-up was the extreme amount of time lapsed between ordering and bei8ng served. Would you believe over 11/4 hours for a simple meal for 4. Nice day, a few groups of 5 or 6, but over 1 hour for a few hamburgers and entrees. Not acceptable
First visit to Chambly and were found this gem. We each had fish and chips, which was a light meal. Served with a fresh salad and fries. The fries were fabulous. The cod was a small piece, but fine with us, and lightly battered and fried. It was very tasty. Don't go there for the beer. Very boring and only Sleeman's and Sapporo. Can imagine how beautiful and packed this is in the summer.
