Tropical Smoothie Cafe - Charleston

This location on Sam Rittenburg Blvd in Charleston SC is great, have never been dissatisfied with my experience. The smoothies are always prepared well. Not to watery or to thick and the food is good. Waiting for the Tanger Outlet location to open because the other two North Charleston location are under boycott by me at this time and I don't see us repairing the relationship right now. On my last visit to the Rivers Ave location, the service was awful and the manager who was there at that time was worse. This was so months ago so I can't say it's the same person who may be in place now because turn over seems to be pretty high there and at the Dorchester Road location. Will never go back there again. People should not rub your food against their clothes. Just disgusting.

Love tropical smoothie food, but customer service at this location today was terrible. Ordered curbside and no one came out after 10 minutes so I went in to pick up my order. 2 employees were behind the counter and completely ignored me, avoiding eye contact for 3 minutes while I stood there. Eventually someone came out from the back and handed me my order which was behind the counter and not at the designated pick up area.

Curbside Door Dash app quoted 2hrs but was ready in 20We actually ordered curbside and went to pick up. Door dash App quoted 2 hours till ready...so we decided to just go there and ignore the time. We got there about 20 min later and the order for 10 of us was already bagged and ready. I had the jerk chicken and roasted sweet potato side with the Peanut Butter Cup smoothie. It was DELICIOUS!! I hope there are some in Dallas! I will be back.

I like this lil spot. Easy to get to from just about anywhere. They make your drinks quick.
