I tried to get their attention for a minute, but they completely ignored me. This was the worst customer service I have ever experienced, so I would recommend avoiding this place.
We will be back when we return to charters towers. good hearty dinner with a very satisfied waitress. meal sizes are big. Definitiw not michelin plate, but if that's what they expect in the outback queensland, then I suggest respectfully that they turn around and. go home.
Despite the average ratings, we decided to give this restaurant a try. Unfortunately, we were disappointed and will not be returning. The menu seemed pub-style, which was disappointing given the building's aesthetics. My parma and chips were quite good, but my wife's barramundi was overcooked on the edges and undercooked in the middle. The mixed vegetables were also served cold. The "Maître D" reminded us of Basil Fawlty from Fawlty Towers - always blaming someone else for the mistakes. It seems that this restaurant is mainly catering to motel guests who are miners and contractors. If you're looking for a great meal, it's best to go elsewhere.
The service was very disappointing. The waiter was rushing around complaining about how busy he was and using profanity. The atmosphere was not pleasant. The food was just okay, more like pub-style than restaurant quality.
Our favorite restaurant in CT. The dining room has been lovingly restored to original. We always eat here when stay in CT. Great service and a good menu. The wine list always includes a beautiful Central Otago NZ Pino Noir. And try the Red Trolley...Ale from American brewery Karl Strauss. A Superb red ale. Great crack with Brad the waiter.
