Jade Garden Restaurant-Tavern - Chatham

The restaurant is very pricey. We placed our order through an app. It seems the restaurant modified the items in their combo plates without updating the menu online. When I raised this issue, I received no apology and was basically told to call directly for accurate orders. The food was overcooked and dry, and the customer service was lacking. I felt disrespected. I will not be returning. I'm disappointed, Jade Garden, but we had other dining options.

We've been here for so many times. We enjoy specialties there. Always good and very cheap. Decorate a little, no much dated but service is good and it is clean.

On average. If chicken balls and chow are your thing, go here. Washrooms need a reno and also clean. The whole place is due for a envelope. The food is well prepared, I am sure, but we can do better people!!!

Let me say that first. We have the Jade Garden road for years. It was our way to the Chinese place. But tonight we decided to order came to $56 and they asked if we pay with cash, debit or credit. When we arrived to pay with Debit, we were charged $6 extra. No disclosure, nothing. When we argued the charges, the owner had no explanation. We got our $6 back, but when we got out, we got two middle fingers from one of the waiters. Not the most upcoming or most classic town. Stay away!

Good spot to meet with friends for lunch! Not too busy on a Wednesday at noon, but quick tasty service. I ordered #5 lunch option which included wonton soup, followed by the plate of egg roll, fried rice, sweet sour chicken and guy ding...(chicken, vegetables and almonds). My friends ordered #2 chicken chop suey and sweet sour chicken, with egg roll fried rice, and #3, chop suey, fried rice, egg roll and soo guy (fried chicken). We all enjoyed our choices and found it a pleasant change from usual lunch options!
