The cheese has a wonderfully soft and slightly fluffy texture, and its tangy flavor really excites the palate. The base, while a small part of the cake, is crucial. Many bakeries tend to ruin this element by creating a hard, brittle crust that tastes overly sugary. However, this cake features a moist and soft base that breaks apart like a freshly baked cookie. At $6.50, it's on the pricier side for mini cakes from 85 Degrees, but I believe it's worth every penny. The generous portion makes it great for sharing as well. Xihuahua, you definitely need to try this sometime!
This place offers an extensive selection of bread, pastries, cakes, sweets, and beverages. I tried five different types of bread. The sugar donut was particularly delightful and airy. I also had shallot bread, a sweet milky bun, Japanese bread, and a garlic loaf. All were soft and fresh.
This place serves the best taro pearl milk tea in Chatswood! It's reasonably priced and not overly sweet. The ratio of pearls to milk is perfect, and they prepare it right in front of you. The selection of bread at 85° is fantastic as well. I particularly love the pork floss buns and treat myself to one every now and then.
Been here on multiple occasions and the bread never ever disappoints!! The taro wholemeal and the okonomiyaki are shown in the photos, but they have many other good choices as well!
Popular Taiwanese bakery chain. I normally go to BreadTop few shops down, I found that the varieties at 85C looks nice, but taste a bit plain, flavours (sweet or savoury) are both not as distinct. This time I got the Squid ink pork floss bun the Choc Snow Milky. Love the pork floss, very moorish. The choc bun was not that chocolaty, it's really a plain bun with choc powder icing dusting on top and a scoop of light choc cream inside, taste ok, but won't get it again.
