Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónI'm not sure if this restaurant recently reopened. I noticed that it is listed as closed. I ate lunch here on June 29, 2022, and it was packed. It's the location across the street from some sort of training center. The waitress let us know that they were short staffed, but despite the staffing issue, we were in and out quickly. Our order was accurate and everyone was happy with their meals.
This restaurant was convenient because it was opened late. We ordered steak and eggs, which was prepared quickly and nicely packaged for our to go order. The restaurant was filled with an unsavory mix of people which made it an uncomfortable place to be. The food was not great. The steak was actually awful. I suppose the price was very low for steak, so it was adequate for the price point.
As a couple we came from FL for vacation, I’ve never been treated SO DISCRIMINATED against, and poorly looked at as a inhumane 2 world class citizen customer that walked in the door to eat breakfast like any other human being. We sat down where there was a open table and was COMPLETELY IGNORED, after about 10mins we asked can we order? The waitress ignored us AGAIN, when I finally got her attention she cleaned off the table. Then started being rude by saying “there are other tables y’all could have sat at”. I was appalled, when stating “this is the table we wanted to sit at and was opened” AGAIN, with more of an attitude she continued to argue, and walked away. No manager’s tried to take care of the situation at hand. I nicely said to the waitress “there is no reason to be rude just because we sat down to eat”. She AGAIN made another rude comment. After never getting a chance to order, I Let them know “ they do NOT deserve my business” she said okay and we walked out. They did not try to stop us and or serve us. Even though the manager was present at this time and heard the whole conversation each time because she was standing behind the waitress, she did absolutely NOTHING. This has been the WORST and most DISGUSTED treatment we have received in all our years of going out to eat at a restaurant. Me and my girlfriend are very disappointed in Waffle House here in TN Chattanooga. The manager should have completed her job duties correctly and provide us with better customer service. As us being a gay couple we feel a big discrimination against for no reason. And in knowing we did not deserve these kind of actions towards. I hope this review gets to whom ever owns or is in charge of this Waffle House at 3805 Cummings Hwy Chattanooga TN and sees what HORRIBLE customer service this store provides. I will NEVER return back to this location.
I waited a long time to leave this review. Our food was quick and hot. Bill was about $18. Paid another couple's bill and the staff billed us our bill and their bill after we had already paid. Ended up out about $70 at waffle house. Ruined our night for a good deed. Dont trust the staff, someone padded their pocket on our dime. Total bummer cause it had been a 5 star visit.
Mary Ann was our server and she was absolutely amazing. Very nice and super sweet!
