After we were served, we didn't see anyone refilling tee etc. and we had to go to the reception to ask them to pay someone.
Unfortunately, my lammage was the most boring I've ever had no taste. my man had the black and both meal times had exactly the same basic with the meat placed on top with a little garnitur. there was no difference in the plates next to the meat above. the service was incredibly slow. we waited minutes for our first cure, but my cream brulee was very good waiting for another long one. we had booked the next night, but canceled.
The experience was left from the quality of the cooking art, which was barely up to that of an enthusiastic but low-skilled home cook. the menu looks good at the first look, but the descriptions flatter mouth dishes unimaginatiw cooked. I made a late booking about a long weekend when I learned that my son would visit his friend and her parents from korea chester. most places were very booked. the restaurant in mb was almost empty, obviously others knew more than I wanted somewhere with a pleasant environment and a garden view. the restaurant mollington banastre looks at a shave - that was ok - but the hotel seems to suffer from a lack of investment. the front parking lot is heavily overgrown and at the first arrival in the hotel offers a bad impression the ambiente was ok and the dame that took our orders for drinks and meals was pleasant and efficient. so: service good, ambiente ok, quiet enough in restaurant for talks (five other guests, but the cooking must greatly improve both in rich and finish. I recognize these commentaries that the restaurant was medium, but for six (most of us had only two courses no coffee) I found the evening a disappointment.
Despite the knowledge that a diner was zöliakie they had no suitable cake for afternoon tea!
Disappointing from the start. Had to ask at reception to find a staff member to seat us, very quiet and a huge space for a few tables occupied. Wine choice not available, Feather blade beef had lump of fat in the middle and it was incredibly poor portion size, taste and quality. There was a large party in another function suite but this should not interfere with service or food. Breakfast was equally bad. Buffet cooked food was dry and empty trays which were not readily filled. No condiments. Very poor choice of cereals and a Beige table held cereal but no museli or natural yoghurts. Staff x visible but not helpful and not able to bring food out warm in time for my breakfast. Residents wandering around looking for plates, Sauce, waiting for beans etc it wasn’t pleasant! Overall I wouldn’t recommend this hotel and it’s a shame as price fair and position handy.
