George's Gyros Spot - Chesterton

My last visit was surprisingly not good. Gyro meat was cold and the tomatoes tasted lazy. I didn't complain, because this is the first time of 20 visits that it was sub par. Fries are always perfect.

Had no hot dogs here. Hot dog was good, but the bungalow used is not the typical Chicago dog ****. It was kind of harder and I thought the size and taste overwhelmed the hot dog. Would it be among those of Portillos. Will be back, but will stay to order Kreisel here

FOOD is HANDSH! Did it have 2 different occasions and I tried? never in my 26 years of life had such an evil gyro. For the first time, my order was wrong and I was gone. Also throw away my circles (not happened). The second time took a bite and threw it away. I had frozen better gyros.

I come here to eat since it was opened around 1993, or somewhere around that time. I was never disappointed. Fast service, great food, very cheap, very clean and alway feel welcome. I love this place.

If you're camping at the Dunes and need lunch this is a great option. Better than the typical fast food. I ask for them to brown the gyro meat.
