La Fournette French bakery in Old Town is one of my favorite places in Chicago for bread and pastries. Lately I have been enjoying their multi-grain baguette and their hearty “beer” bread! Both are delicious and you can taste the freshness and the great ingredients without being laden with preservatives. The staff is also very helpful, efficient friendly. ??
Great sourdough! I cannot surpass the sourdough I had in Copenhagen. but still delicious bread:)1/2 is a lot...! Eat it fresh!
A joy! This café is an absolute jewel. Great coffee, bread, treats and staff. I have also used them to care for events and gifts; they treat orders with such love.
A warm and welcoming place to get a coffee and French croissants? Oh, don't you forget to take a fresh toast bread to go??
