Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónDinner at Rose Mary was a delightful meal. Had a later reservation on a Saturday and Rose Mary was pleasantly full. The room had a nice buzz and a great energy but we could still have a conversation. This was my first visit (it will not be my last) and I was surprised at the size of the restaurant. It is quite large. I remember when they first opened it was impossible to get a table. The menu was filled with dishes I wanted to try, but having come from cocktails and snacks we were ready for a light dinner. We ordered a vegetable, fish and meat. Our server suggested ordering at least 4 dishes but the 3 were more than enough given our prior stop. The veggie dish was the zucchini fritters. Absolutely delicious. They were a generous size, crunchy, creamy and served with the most marvelous sauce, pesto aioli, parmigiano, and pine nuts that brought everything together. The fish dish was the outstanding Tuna Crudo. Wow. Amazing flavors. The fish was fresh and the fried capers were great. However, the sauce shallot-beef fat vinaigrette, veal aioli, made this dish unforgettable. I will order this every time I visit. We also had the pork ribs they were perfectly caramelized and fall off the bone tender. But the accompaniment the Calabrian chile agrodolce, walnuts, cabbage yogurt relish again took this dish over the top. It was the most unique combination of flavors. It married beautifully with the ribs. The next time I visit, I will skip the cocktails and appetizers so I can explore more of the menu. Looking forward to trying new dishes and really enjoying the Tuna Crudo again!
Amazing meal tonight at Rose Mary! We loved everything we tried. We got the crudo, grilled clams, shrimp, cauliflower, sweet potatoes, ribs, mushroom risotto, and agnolotti and mezzaluna pastas. For dessert, the apple crostada was the star. Great service and overall vibe of the restaurant too, highly recommend.
My sister and I loved this restaurant. We walked in on a Saturday night without a reservation and were able to be seated at the bar in about 30 minutes, which was amazing. We were really impressed with the entire experience. I'm a vegetarian and am used to only having a small selection on most menus but there was a lot for me to choose from our favorites were the zucchini fritters and pesto gemelli. I would highly recommend Rose Mary and think it is an amazing addition to the Fulton Market/West Loop restaurant scene.
Love the casual but chic atmosphere. Knowledgeable wait staff can lead you through the Croatian/Italian menu. Shared plates make it a great date or group choice to dine. Flavors are complex, diverse, unique and delicious. Families with a Croatian background (like mine) will especially enjoy the menu selectionKid-friendliness: Kids seem welcome but not sure about the menu-selection having kid-favorites
We had heard a lot of good reviews about Rosemary and wanted to experience it for a dinner.Unfortunately, we are very disappointed. We had Funghi Risotto, Baby Octopus and Sarma. Sarma was delicious. Octopus was burnt and hard. Risotto had too much salt.Cocktails were very tasty. I had Rosemary Spritz and I love it.Service was very slow but our server was very nice. Thats why I gave 4 stars for service. We spent 120$ without tip for 2 people. It is not expensive but these meals don’t deserve that money. Sorry.Atmosphere was good but we will never come back again!!!
