The Angry Crab - Chicago

First time at this place. Damn good! Bit much on the garlic, but otherwise really good. Not a place to eat every week but I'll be back soon enoughFood: 5/5

Do not be fooled by the high rating. It was at best 2 stars. I'll start with a positive. The shrimp were large.Now several things that I personally wasn't happy with... The flavor of the Maniac seasoning was rather bland and more on the sweet side than anything. The crab legs were very tiny and difficult to get meat from They included a service charge (tip) without telling me. The server sat behind the counter for 25 minutes on his phone after we were finished and waiting for the check. The server didn't want us to try the seasoning because by his exact words, most people ask to try the others afterwards.Needless to say, I won't be going back.

Food was good, fun to be messy eat. No complaints. HEADS UP!!! Rogers Park location added service charge 18% automatically for party of 2. AND ASKED FOR TIP AT BOTTOM OF RECEIPT. #SCAM

The food here was horrible and very salty. The servers were nice that's why i gave 2 stars instead of 1 star.

I eat a lot of seafood and had always wanted to try this place and finally got the chance last night. The food was quite good. The atmosphere was fun. The problem is that everything is so wildly overpriced that they don’t even put prices on the menu. A half pound of scallops amounted to 5 small scallops and cost $30. They tried to sell me some combo thing they said was for one person and it cost $125. Oddly the best thing on the menu were the sausages. Go figure
