El Campestre - Chilhowie

This was the only restaurant we could find within 20 miles that had a bar and food available on that Sunday. We were greeted with complimentary chips and salsa shortly after we sat down, and we enjoyed some excellent tacos, a margarita, and a couple of beers—all at a very reasonable price. I would need to have had about four margaritas for the food to even be considered decent. The chips were stale, even the greasy ones, the salsa lacked flavor, and the steak in the burrito was dry. I wouldn't go back unless I was completely desperate. I do not recommend this place. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner

Ordered Hawaiian fajitas and it’s about $15 I expected to actually taste the ham and pineapple but the whole thing had no flavor. We got it to go and I tried adding more guacamole and chunky salsa to give it flavor and it didn’t help. I couldn’t eat it . It was nasty! My dogs ate the chicken out of it . I ate last nights left over spaghetti. So much better. I would not recommend this place and it’s not the 1st time eating there. Probably the last 3-4 times it wasn’t good.
