We went to El Bracero for my birthday. It was so much fun and delicious! Definitely the best Mexican restaurant I've been to. I got queso de birria taco a new menu item it was filled with stewed beef, cheese and came with a spicy birria sauce, chopped onion and cilantro for you to add as much or little as you want. The sauce has a lot of heat so you may want to test before you put a lot on it. Then, there's a beef broth to dip it before chowing down. This was so good. My companion got the molcajete, a spicy bowl of steak, chicken, shrimp and Poland peppers and topped with cheese. It comes with tortillas, guacamole and sour cream so you can eat it like fajitas. This was another flavor bomb. We had delicious food, great margaritas served in a tower and ice cream with mango and strawberries. It was a great birthday meal. I look forward to returning. Edit: I did return for a late lunch from 1:30 to 3. Business was brisk even in this off hour. Food was still delicious. Even the rice and beans are extra special. The chicken taco soup is fresh and flavorful and the chili relleno had a crisp crust and thick with gooey cheese. And the birria tacos are like eating a spicy pot roast sandwich. I will return!
Great food, great service. My family and I will be going back!
Hands down the best Mexican food around. The pictures are of the nachos supreme. This is the full size that cost $12 it was all I could do to finish it I was done halfway through. The prices are not bad and every time we go I have eaten way more than what I should and paid half of what I thought I should pay. Food always comes out piping hot we have been there three times now and have not been disappointed
Went there today for lunch with my daughter and grandson. We ordered cheese dip that never came and also a side of beans that they tried to give us when we were ready for the check. Yes, the service was not good, but even worse was the food. My daughter ordered two enchiladas with beans, and I had the taco and enchilada lunch combo. I think they pinched my taco from Taco Bell across the street. A broken shell that was pre-made and was no longer crisp. The sad thing is that it was the best thing on my plate. The beans were watery with an orange tint to them. I shared them with my 9 month old grandson. Thank God for diapers because he has had explosive diarrhea from them. As for myself, I have been sprinting to the bathroom with the same allotments. This is not authentic Mexican food. It lacks flavor and only gives you a surprise on the backside. Please stay away.
