They were made of fluffy eggs roasted sandwiches, and were probably the best breakfast sandwich in Cleveland. Now they are prefabricated eggs and a chemical taste that makes McDonald's taste like a 5-star restaurant. We will never go back here!! Cutting costs like this for an unsatisfactory product is a good way to lose loyal customers.
The Melt has a smaller menu than most locations,, it 's difficult to find prices on any vendors without actually going there, and just to make it that much more bothersome there is maintenance being done on an escalator but only one end is closed. The other is wide open, gives no indication anything is out of the ordinary besides the escalator is turned off (which I dismissed as they 've decided it should be stairs), just a barricade and an angry concierge who doesn 't seem to understand what there 's nothing blocking it on the first floor means. I mean if you 're really determined to go to Melt then the place has that going for it,and everyone 's a lot friendlier once you get past the grumpy concierge, but it 's a long way to go and a lot of nonsense to deal with just to find out barely anything is in your self-imposed budget.
Good place. I eat there at least 2 times a week. I wish they would bring back the cakes.
High quality quick bite. Don't miss the awesome desserts!
Well, I use to like coming here. I work in the building where the cafe is located, so I frequent the establishment regularly. The food is relatively good though some things are a bit pricey. Today was a horrible experience. I went for breakfast and was told that they were out of croissants and bacon. This is not the first time that they have ran out of breakfast items. So the employee proceeds to tell me that those items are most popular and they typically run out in three days. I asked why wouldn 't they order more if they know that it is a popular item. A good business model, in my opinion, would be to keep your popular items stocked. And the response I was given This is a billion dollar company and they don 't give a f about you and something along the lines of one monkey don 't stop a show. Since they are a billion dollar industry that does not care about their customers, I will spend my money elsewhere; probably at the local small business that do care about their customers.
