We ordered the Bier Brewed Goulash, the Kohl Rouladen and the Norwegian Salmon. Everything was delicious!!! I would definitely recommend if your looking for a good German food restaurant.
Friday night… sat immediately and served quickly. Waitress was attentive and accurate. Appetizer of Four sausage platter with sauerkraut and mustards: Delicious! Entrée 1: Fried pork with spatzle Wonderful mushroom sauce on top and pork was cooked juicy and perfect. Spatzle lacked flavor. Entrée 2: Meatloaf and German potato salad. Meatloaf was bland and lacking seasoning/ better sauce. Potato salad was great and refreshing. Dessert: Apple strudel was OK. Decorated like a child got a hold of the caramel bottle and drew some squiggles. Nothing to write home about. Live music from “Tom” playing classical guitar rock. Very good.
I came from California, i notices this Cocoa village every restaurant its no busy? Now im understand why
This place banished the food. Amazing food. It's surprising to me that it has only four stars here. Not sure why that is. Maybe it's service-based. But I know that the reason I'm not able to raise this score for them is because they really messed up my friends. They are vegetarians, and the menu online says they have vegetarian options. But unfortunately, when we showed up, they said the vegetarian options are not available for weekend lunch. It's 2022 and that's really inevitable. My veg friends were basically forced to eat salads and bread. Cool. Unlike all that I said, the food beat. We started with the Giant Pretzel (Fresh baked Pretzel served with mustard dipping sauce and a cheese dip). This had an amazing bite on the outside, a great chewing on the inside, the perfect amount of salt on the outside. Delicious. I need her classic Wienerschnitzel (Breaded pork to perfection. Covered with lemon slices. Served with potato salad). Very crispy bread, moist all over, even by this pig was shaken quite thinly. And the potato salad was beautiful and soft and cold and a good balance to the carving itself. However, my main dish was the Jagerschnitzel (broken pork with mushroom sauces. Served with spet). Same amazing pork chips, but with a rich, very mushroom sauce completely envelopes them. Amazing. And the sparrow. Everyone loves spit. If you don't, you don't have it yet. Order it, try it. I ordered a red cabbage side for some freshness and acidity. Add a little here, a little there, some to a few bites. It's good. Overall, the food was amazing. Yes, the service was ok, but I never let that knock my five star awards, but that together with their lack of care or trouble, all their customers really killed it for me.
