Many thanks for the way you handled our daughter's wedding. The environment, the attitude of the staff, the food and drinks, everything was very...
A hidden gem with food to match any of the top Michelin restaurants in the world and warm and welcoming service. It is to be tasted to be believed, my freshly made tagiatelle with salmon literally melted in the mouth, they welcomed the five children in our party as if they were their own and the everything from the coquille saint Jaques to the cheese was absolutely first rate. A true ten out of a ten as a gastronomique experience. You must go
What a find! Beautiful setting, sympathetic conversion of an old an interesting building, great pool. So, what if the bedrooms are a little small? the beds are of a super quality, as is the bedlinen, and the shower room is superb; anyway, who wants to spend all their time in a bedroom when the grounds and the surroundings are so inviting? Now to the really important bit,-Charlotte is the most enthustiastic, amiable and all round excellent hostess we have ever come across, and her boyfriend, the chef, is hugely talented. The food was aabsolutely delicious, and I can honestly say that the Salade Gourmande is one of the best dishes I have tasted in my life. I did take a photo of said dish, but unfortunately it looked so tempting that I had devoured half of it before I could bear to get out the camera,-not such a good representation! The breakfast, too, was superb. It started with a buffet style cereal and hot beverages, then the baker arrived with some fresh bread and pastries, which were hastily relyed to our table.Ah, then freshly squeezed orange juice, hardly ever served up in French hotels, but for me, a must-have on holiday. But best of all, the Chef stated that 'The rest will follow'.I won't spoil the surprise or the spontenaiety of what might be available at the time, but WOW, what a breakfast. The best ever! These two young Belgians run a fantastic place. We will be back, especially as the newly extended Mazamet- Mons cycle track / Via Verde has been extended so that it passes very closely to the Domaine de Rodie. Next time we hope to stay a little longer.Thank you for looking after us so well, and good luck for the rest of the season.
