Employee said they are no longer ?allowed? to use chocolate ice cream in a blizzard and said it was just this location, under new management. Told them wewon?t be back to this location and called corporate office for clarification on this?..the lady I spoke with said ?that doesn?teven make sense?. No kidding.
Food, staff and service are 100% here. Immaculately clean inside and out. Friendly and enjoyable staff, no long wait time. I definitely recommend this DQ

I’m only leaving a review because this is a pattern that someone should take note of eventually.Dairy Queen is a fond childhood memory for me, but not like this. No one likes ice cream all over the sides of their blizzard such that it runs down onto their vehicle’s console. No one likes sticky hands (from grabbing the blizzard) all over their steering wheel. No one likes their order thrown in the bag (upside down fries somehow).It was clear by the look on the woman’s face in the drive thru window that she didn’t want to be there and did not want to serve customers. And the workers behind her didn’t seem too happy either.Perhaps the day wasn’t going well. That happens and is understandable. But please don’t take it out on your customers.[And “DQ Fan Relations Team” please don’t reply to this with a similar almost copy/paste response like many of your others hoping that I can “give it another chance”. It just makes you appear even less caring. A personal, well thought out reply can be fine, but a machine like 10 second reply simply because “that’s your process” so you can say “you checked the box” is worse than no reply at all. And honestly, this doesn’t warrant a reply with your words anyway. Instead, reply with your consistent actions in fixing this location. That’s how you can let your customers know you truly care.
I walked in, went up to the counter and a young lady just walks up... says absolutely nothing. I told her what I was there for and she says, oh ! If that 's the best DQ can do, they should close up shop TODAY and start over.
Every time I go the cup, it's a mess. not really a good idea to eat it in her car. would be a sticky mess.
