I called beforehand to see if they were open and a very respectful young boy answered the phone and answered my questions with ease and grace! 10/10 would eat here again. I have not ordered from gold garden in a number of years because their food was sub-par. I decided to give them another chance, what a mistake! My pan fried dumplings were greasy, flabby and inedible. I threw them away. My Kung pow chicken combo was equally sad. The pork lomein was so greasy and the pork strips so tough they were inedible. We deserve better. I should have flushed my 29.00 down the toilet!!!!!! Service: Take out Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–30 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
I've been eating from here for about 3 years and it's always delicious. They are very friendly and fast. Their beef lo mein is my favorite. Food was fresh and done in 10 minittttttt!!!actually was my first time so I only tried the General Tso Chicken combo. It was a great amount of chicken and the fried rice included was very tasty. I LOVE that they actually use bean sprouts and fresh ingredients. Nothing worse than greasy Chinese food... and even though it's a fried dish essentially, it was spot on.. all over good job and friendly service. Prices are same as any other Chinese restaurant. You can literally see the area the chef cooks in and it appeared to be clean at pickup. Again, first time. I'll follow up if anything changes
Was on the hunt for boba and did have a craving for Chinese, which is next door to the boba place... boba place was closed for the day : ... anywho!? I ordered a lot: Sweet and sour pork with pork fried rice: bite size servings and the pork fried rice wasn't dry. There was a good amount of flavor and wasn't overly seasoned, which is what I prefer. Egg Drop Soup: light, fragrant, and with a hint of ginger. It was really good, for how cold it was out. Scallion Pancakes: were a little burned/overcooked and a bit oily. Not sure if this is how it's normally, but it was still tasty with the sauce. It wasn't totally a ruin. Finally, the reason why I hunt for Chinese, FRIED CRAB RANGOON!!! Packed with flavor and wasn't just cream cheese. Thank goodness. This is my new joint/jam.
