Every bit of it was absolutely incredible! We had take out, it was still warm when we got home and the portions are huge! Will be returning!
Best Sichuan food in Cbus. The former head chef at Fortune came over this spring when Hong Kong Buffet converted to Hong Kong House. The real Sichuan dishes are even better than those he used to prepare at Fortune. Alas, the menu is all in Chinese. I've been there several times and have now translated the menu (with family friends' help) for those of us who know Chinese dishes but don't read Chinese. Will post it, once I verify it with the restaurant.
Bring Back the Hong Kong Buffet. The Hong Kong House is so disappointing, on so many levels. The food quality is poor, which doesn 't make sense because their buffet was consistently good. The service is really amateurish and irritatingly inept. The ambience although new, is nothing to 'write home about '. All in all, the management would do well to bring back the buffet, because the Hong Kong House isn 't worth the time or money.
You have got to be kidding me. All these one review folks telling you the food was bad as was the service.<br/ <br/ Yep it is a buffet, keep my glass full and I am good. Lunch time is the best.....No need to eat dinner, they offer a grill as well....pick your ingredients and take them to get cooked....a nice addition to a standard buffet.<br/ <br/ I eat here at least monthly.....
As far as Chinese buffets go this is the only place I've been to more than once. No the food is not as good as I'm used to in San Francisco, but it is pretty good. Variety is great (salt pepper crab is awesome) As for some of the comments I have seen about the wait staff not speaking English.... GET OVER IT! Personally i
