Ferme Auberge de Quiers - Compeyre

During our stay at the mouth of the Gorges du Tarn we visited this auberge twice. Both meals were spectacular and very good value. There is a terrace outside but the weather was too hot for that! It's one of those places where you get what Veronique cooks. On both occasions for us it was lamb - different dishes and both delicious. I understand that it's normally lamb or chicken. I guess that's what they rear up there. The approach road from the south via Compeyre is "interesting"! If your sat nav tries to take you through the village rather than skirting it, switch it off! The auberge is well sign posted from the west of Compeyre but that road was closed during our visits. Don't the French do road closures spectacularly well? Anyway, it is very well worth the excursion into the hills. Don't forget to book.

This is our third visit in this beautiful restaurant while we were in camping peyrelade. it was a warm night, so that all meals were served on the outer esszone, whose backdrop was to overlook the tarn valley. all. tables have been taken, so if they think about eating in this unforgettable restaurant, then make sure they book. the website has its own website that has an online reservation service that is very easy to use. they usually send them back within an hour or so to confirm. eating as our previous visit was great. this restaurant is now permanently on our list to eat next year.

I guess they're back there. the way from the south over compeyre is interesting if her sat nav tries to take it through the village instead of pumping it off, they turn it off! the auberge is a good sign from the west of compeyre, but this road was closed during our visit. do the French not make the road closures spectacular? La única pega es para encontrarla, pero es absolutamente recomendable. Es casa rural, aunque nosotros fuimos a cenar en grupo. Todo delicioso, buen precio.
