First timer..Forgot to take pics before I trashed it! Whats saving this review is I received superb service. Which a friend said that’s rare, im elated today was a good day. Waited in line 25mins(Sunday crowd) .. Spent 71.34 (For that amount an incentive for customers should be a free desert or drink) 1.oxtail plate( no season, and tough as sandpaper) the portion sizes were huge; just missed the mark with cook time and flavor! (Lipton onion soup mix and beef broth is all you need) 2. Brown gravy meatloaf, with macaroni and cabbage (she was satisfied) 3. Fried/Grilled pork chop plate.. grilled chop was TOUGH. (Thick cut pork chops require marinating therefore they don’t dry out and cooks evenly for tender meat) fried was SALTY. The macaroni was bland(salt the water or use chicken broth) also try using parboiled rice(you can’t overcook or under cook it) all the gravy was made with burnt grease( the dark color gives it away)the dressing tastes just like the corn muffins; full of sugar. Again.. AMAZING customer service. Btw; add some decor to the walls. Make the place more welcoming

They give you your monies worth but something is always off after I eat here, yesterday was my second time. Meatloaf and Turkey wings is what I've had with various sides. Nothing blew me away it's just ok. They are very slow being this is a buffet style set up just fix ppls plates and go but it's always a slow moving line.

I gave two stars because the food was delicious. However,if I walk into a business I expect good customer service without nasty attitudes. You don’t know if someone is a secret shopper! Giving people nasty looks is disgusting. You don’t know that person or what they are going through. I will be back to see if it’s an update on the attitude and nasty looks.

I read the reviews really wanted some soul food so I tried this establishment first the lady fixing my food had a attitude the food was not good to me I had a meatloaf plate and baked chicken plate my chicken was cold the Mac and cheese wasn’t good the greens wasn’t good the candy yams wasn’t good the green beans had no taste I wasted 38 dollars because all but the cornbread went toThe trash ?️ never again now the bbq place across the street is the real deal there sides are soooo good please go there
