Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónMy family gifted us a wine night at Hayfield Manor Hotel, and I must say, it exceeded our expectations. The wines from the well-established Chilean producer, Torreon de Paredes, were superb. We enjoyed trying different Chilean wineries and the selected wines perfectly matched each course. The representative from the winery was knowledgeable and we learned a lot about wine pairings. The food was excellent and reminded us why Hayfield Manor is perfect for special occasions. The setting in the Vine Cellar added to the overall experience of our unforgettable night. We will cherish the memory for a long time. Simply superb.
We recently visited the bar at this 5-star hotel and found the prices to be a bit high. However, the attention to detail and customer service were excellent. Unfortunately, the Orchids restaurant was closed, so we dined at Perrotts bistro instead. We tried the hamhock special for a starter, which was a small portion. The soup was excellent, and we enjoyed the homemade breads with butter, pesto, and chickpea dip. For mains, we had Dover sole with broccoli and new potatoes, both on and off the bone, which was a good portion for €30.00 per person. The pork chop with vegetables and scallops was also tasty, with a side of baby leeks and small black pudding morsels. The home-cut chips were thick and hot, and the mash with olives was overly salty. For dessert, we had a cheeseboard that seemed haphazardly thrown together, along with a tough tarte tatin and decent ice cream. The iced water was refreshing, and the wine selection was good. Overall, the staff were pleasant and saved the experience despite inconsistencies in the food quality. We wonder how long this trend will continue.
My party of four enjoyed lunch at this establishment, which is located in a beautiful hotel. The food was fantastic, and the staff provided excellent service. While it may be pricier due to its 5-star rating, the experience is definitely worth it. Perfect for special occasions.
Last week,we had a tasting dinner at Hayfield Manor, service and food was excellent. The cheese board lacked variety with regard to cheese as there was only Brie. We went into the drawing room after dinner, lovely room,a vintage birdcage with two lovely birds inside was on top of a table that was too small for the cage and waste from the cage was on the floor and on some wallpaper, what a pity as this room has got a lovely atmosphere.
We recently had a famiy lunch at Hayfield Manor for 30 people in the Wine Cellar. I can only say that the service, the food and the attention to detail was faultless. The staff on the lead up to the event were very attentive and on the day, it was superb. Thank you. Lisa
