The Brew House

Cute spot modelled on some coffee shops from cities around europe. Fine coffee served in nice cups if staying nearby. Friendly service and nice little shop. Seems to be a little misunderstood by some here. It’s doing what it set out to do!

Nice coffee shop and drinks cake. Female server very friendly but what a poor attitude the male coffee maker had….unhelpful and miserable. Lots of other places to buy coffee and spend money in this amazing foodie town so won’t return.

Such a cute coffee shop. beautiful coffee too. ordered an oat flat white, the coffee art was gorgeous. amazing barista's !!!! impressed with their selection of vegan cakes too !

I visited Porthleven today and called into Origin Coffee for two Latte's. At the time I was the only person waiting to be served yet the young man serving ignored me (not even a greeting) and made me wait a few minutes while he tried to look occupied. Eventually he served me, and that was the mistake I made, I should have walked out before being served. I ordered two Latte's, I could see the price £3.30 each, which I thought was steep, but never the less I proceeded with the purchase. The Latte's eventually arrived in the smallest take away cups that I have ever seen. Seriously small, something that you may give a toddler. If you enjoy being completely ripped off then you will certainly enjoy the Origin Coffee shop in Porthleven. Over priced coffee, under valued portion size and ignorant staff. It doesn't get much worse. My advice steer clear.

I 've been going to the Brew house for a number of years so decided about time I gave it the rad review it deserves. Having said this, it 's mostly to do with Jake who 's currently at the helm. I 've been a regular to the Brew House, for the last 7 years....bar the main man TJ and Kiwi Gav a few years back there 's been a noticeable lack of love in the BH, but Jake has brought back the love and high fives that the harbour head coffee house needed. I 'm not a coffee snob but Jake has switched me onto new brews and made me make a bee-line for the Brew house, where as before it was more a if I 'm passing or at a loose end , kinda vibe. Now I miss not going in if I 've been away, and it 's always rad coming back. Origin have a nice little hub up the road but the Brew house is close to my heart and always my main port of call for coffee and a social. All hail!
