Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónWe stayed at this hotel in October 2023 for 5 nights. 2 adults and a child. We had a large room with a very large main bed. Breakfast was good. We only stayed for one dinner at the hotel which was good too. Our choice of St Austell was that we could explore Cornwall from this place easily. This was our first visit to Cornwall. Rooms: 4 Service: 4
The restaurant is in a great location with friendly staff and good food. The rooms are rated 4, service is 5, and the location is 5. This hotel offers great value and is highly recommended.

I stayed at this restaurant for 5 nights. The stairs were a bit steep and narrow, but it's understandable as it's an old building. My room (17) was a little small but spotless, with a really comfortable bed and a very good shower. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, with a special mention to Dylan who was especially attentive throughout our stay. The food was excellent, especially the seafood chowder which should be offered as a main dish as well as a starter since it was the best I've ever had.
Staff are lovely Andrew is a smashing chap Unfortunately the owner is rude and rather nasty to the staff I have witnessed this my self she was basically screaming at one young lad out in the open not even behind closed doors not that you should anyway and the food is diabolical it’s quite clearly all been put in a microwave and turned to complete mush and my god who makes the gravy take the pepper away from them it’s all you can taste it’s disgusting The rooms are pleasant to stay in but I would avoid eating the food just go to weatherspoons it’s less dissipating still Food drinks: Food is just awful do not eat here it’s just microwaved food and it’s disgusting
