Rafterys - Craughwell

Located in the quaint village of Craughwell, Galway, Ireland, this charming bar and restaurant has been a staple in the community for four generations. A family-run establishment, it is a popular spot for travelers looking for a delicious meal on the go. We enjoyed a satisfying full Irish breakfast during our visit. Locals can be found enjoying drinks in the back bar, while the restaurant attracts passersby like ourselves. Their Sunday lunch is highly recommended. As someone who grew up in the area, it was a nostalgic visit back to my roots. Unfortunately, as of 2022, this beloved pub has closed its doors.

The staff at this restaurant were exceptional, the food was delicious, and the prices were reasonable. A visit to this restaurant is definitely worth it.
