The La Bruceta restaurant, with information a few days in advance, offers a dinner for 25 euros each for 14 October, including starter, first course, second course and dessert. This evening, since the chef is a guarantee, we went to the restaurant in Cremolino, where we have been three or four other times and where we ate satisfactorily, with an à la carte menu and interesting dishes. In truth, in addition to the food, what always attracted us was the terrace room overlooking the castle. Tonight they place around 40 people at six tables in the room next to the entrance and another 20 people in another room. To my request to be able to stay in the terrace room, the owner replies that it is already prepared for tomorrow and that it cannot be used. The dining room staff, apart from a waiter dressed in a dress code appropriate to his role, appears in worn and inappropriate clothing (even floral pajama shorts with lace and a t-shirt with the word boss . After half an hour the noise becomes deafening, the room is small and, even if you are chatting, it is impossible to hear your neighbour. The dishes arrive cold, except for the agnolotti del plin, and the second course (fried Piedmontese style has small quantities, as well as fried mozzarella, fried chicken thighs, minced meat balls, pizza-type panzerotti: in short, not even the shadow of fried Piedmontese style . The panna cotta is very sweet and topped with cold, very dense caramel. We spread a merciful veil over the appetizers. If the Piedmontese veal with tuna sauce is enriched with mayonnaise, if the filling in the baked onion is soft and inconsistent, if the marinated meat is again chicken, I would say that: 1 continuing to pursue profit through commercial evenings will lead the place to ruin. 2 The cost of 25 euros was almost too much if you consider what you ate 3 A chef like Juri Risso cannot lose his name like this, but he will lose it 4 Not having respect for those who eat and pay, showing up dressed for the beach, taking them for idiots and giving them supermarket stuff, and finally forcing them to swallow everything in an hour in the middle of stadium chaos, is truly disqualifying for those manages, mortifying for the diners 5 we do not recommend the venue to anyone, especially this evening event model which has nothing of an event about it 6 we will never return to Bruceta again and we hope this review convinces most people not to frequent a mediocre place that is disrespectful of customers.
On Sunday 15 October, on the occasion of the FAI day in Cremolino, we ate here for lunch. They proposed a very advantageous menu at €25 including coffee, wine and mineral water. Being understandably full, the table service was hasty and standardized to say the least: decent mixed starters (the waitress was not able to tell us what it included), excellent ravioli, the Piedmontese fried food prepared a little before being served was not very crunchy, creams caramel in sachet... For the price paid: it's great. I promise to return on a less crowded day, when the waiters can have time to explain what's on the dishes. Some chipped plates....
An unpretentious hotel but with an excellent value for money, interesting aperitif Friday evening
Excellent cuisine and great price, including drinks and coffee. try, for lovers of Piedmont cuisine.
