Mikato Steak And Sushi - Crestwood

I was in the area since I live just outside of Crestwood and thought I would try this place. I can tell you the sushi I had from Mikato Steak and Sushi was as good as any location I've tried in Louisville. I was pleasantly surprised and will definitely order from here again.

First time eating here, we ordered carry out. I only had to wait a few minutes once I got to the restaurant to pick it up and I believe it's because they waited until I got there to fry our sushi roll which was so awesome of them! We got the Sunday morning roll, it was fresh and delicious. We each ordered chicken hibachi, the chicken had a nice smokey flavor that I personally I really liked, there's plenty of veggies and some lo mein too! All employees handling food were wearing masks and everyone was friendly! Will be returning!

We ordered take out Sunday 16 feb.Would be lower,but 1 star in lowest you can go. We ordered 2 chicken teriyaki dinners to go. 1 no rice double vegetables the other just normal rice and vegetables. When we picked it up we asked about the special instructions they had not done it.They took the order to the back to supposedly fix it. When we got home all they had done was scrape my rice out of my plate and into the other.they had taken the vegetables from the other plate into mine. So I had double vegetables And wife had double rice and no vegetables. How do I know that because the bottom of my tasteless chicken was covered in rice. We also asked for double salad no soup. We got soups with salad dressing. they did not put the salads in the bag,but put the salad dressing in. The food itself was tasteless and tough. The chicken tasked like it had been boiled in water and had teriyaki sauce sprayed on it. The vegetables were greasy and mushy Expected better food from this restaurant we would of been better going to the fast food Chinese restaurant China king.

It doesn't look like much when you are seeing the store front but MAN the service was great! super friendly staff and very clean environment! The menu is fairly priced, great quality of food, and awesome portion size! I will definitely be coming back again! Thank you so much for the awesome and attentive service!

Nice little hidden gem in Crestwood. Food was delish! Would recommend when not wanting to go into the city of Louisville. Take out available.
