A very wide choice of Asian dishes. 10/10 would recommend. Service is fast and on point. We did a walk in but a reservation is recommended! Best dish was the Korean fried Bao buns!
Excellent service. The pork and chive dumplings were perfect, and the Dan dan noodles had fantastic flavor. Kid-friendliness: Very accommodating to our one year old. They had a high chair and made sure he had anything he needed.
Loved it. Great food, great service. We had a few things there, wild boar noodles (very spicy), Korean chicken baos, fried calamari and pork dumplings. Everything tasted amazing and the place and staff were super nice. I highly recommend it. The drinks are more on the expensive side, I had the cheapest sake and it was delicious.
We were excited to eat at this Boston institution. The space is refreshing: in a sea of highly curated restaurants, this feels like an old fashioned eatery where people come for the food and good company. Yet the food is not what we were looking for, and service was sparse and often nonexistent. The restaurant serves overwhelmingly seasoned, highly American Asian-American staples. As with many restaurants in the U.S. lately, it is unpleasantly salty and the crude seasoning often masks the flavor of the main ingredients. The servers tried but the place was jammed and is clearly understaffed. That said, if you like very American “Asian” food, and are prepared to sweat and blow your nose throughout the meal and end up parched, this is a charming place with decent prices.
